This is your space. The sessions are confidential.
Only exception would be me believing that you were at risk of harming yourself, or someone else. We would look at options together.
Please note, sessions, face-to-face or via video call or phone call must not be recorded. Please know this is a requirement for our therapeutic contract.
I understand there may be times when contact between us is necessary outside of our booked session time. I do check my emails and phone messages regularly on week days - not on week ends or bank holidays. Please know I am not always able to respond straight away. In an emergency please always contact emergency services.
I will not make contact with you outside of our sessions unless I need to change a scheduled session.
Our relationship will remain a professional therapeutic relationship.
The boundaries of our relationship will be discussed during our first meeting and should be maintained by both parties.
You may pay in cash or by bank transfer before or at the session.
I review my fees annually providing two month’s notice of any increases in price.
I operate a standard therapeutic contract. I, as your therapist am reserving this space for you at the agreed day and time each week until your therapy ends. To make this possible and to maintain the consistency of your appointments, payment is due for all sessions, including any you cannot attend. In the event of me having to cancel a session, for example annual leave, there will be no charge.
